☟REVIEW/QUATE: VOGUE.ITALIA

Mood/style:

just to hammer home his cheerful message, the soundtrack loop to Kors’ show was Here Comes the Sun by the Beatles. The collection was so easy and relaxed that even the hats had frayed edges. He used mostly neutral colors and played slick/rough textures and elegant/casual against each other, like a hefty handknit cardigan with a silk crepe shift. Also a taffeta blazer with cashmere sweatpants. Classic Kors: ankle-length navy trenchcoat over a long satin skirt and white  satin tank. A jolt of flower power bloomed with a group of brilliant silk jersey toga gowns and draped dresses in hot zinnia pink and yellow.

Lengths:

chunky knit dresses above the knee. Long trousers. Mid-thigh shorts. Trenchcoats at the knee and also to the ankle. Skirts long or knee-length

Colours:

hemp, pebble, white, cloudy grey, midnight blue. A bouquet of flower brights: zinnia, iris, daffodil, grass. Natural linen, leather in warm tones

Fabrics:

linen and linen gauze, cotton, sateen, poplin. Silk crepe and silk jersey, taffeta. Handknit cotton and hemp. Stretch gabardine and double-faced cotton/cashmere. Leather. Techno-crinkle fabric

Shapes:

skirts full, loose and bias cut. Softly draped jersey sarongs and dresses. Two kinds of silhouettes: snug tank tops and bulky, loose sweaters were paired with floaty, lightweight skirts. Pajama pants, cashmere sweatpants and low-waisted wide trousers

Accessories:

huge suitcase-sized flat bags in leather and woven cotton string, some on straps worn across the body. Rugged, plain platform sandals with leather straps. Sloppy pale ankle socks with sandals. Wide leather belts with maillot

I WILL MAKE THE SCRAP BOOK OF S/S '11 COLLECTION
AFTER THE EXAMINATION.

*

ANYWAY,
TOMORROW I'M GOING TO GO AKITA TO VISIT COLLEGE
WHICH I'D LIKE TO TRANSFER...
IT WOULD BE A GOOD EXPERIENCE AND ACT AS A STIMULUS FOR ME.
TO MY SURPRISE, IT WILL TAKE 6 HOURS,
IN CASE I TAKE THE FASTEST WAY BY AIRPLANE.
AKITA IS FAR AWAY FROM TOTTORI...
I AM WORRIED ABOUT THE WEATHER.
I'VE NEVER GO THERE, SO I CANNOT IMAGINE HOW IT IS...
NOW, I'LL PACK MY LUGGAGE!

▼FROM THE ARTICLE OF FASHIONISTA!

I READ AN INTERESTING ARTICLE ABOUT
MARC JACOBS AGAIN, IT IS SAID:

For me, there was a strong connection between Marc Jacobs
Fall 2007 and Marc Jacobs Spring 2011:
While Fall ’07 was about primary colors and
the 1930s and ’40s, Spring ’11 was about sunset hues and
the 1940s as it was interpreted in the 1970s.
It was as if one began where the other left off.

(QUATE: FASHIONISTA.)
IF IT IS, OR NOT ,
I THINK THAT S/S COLLECTION IS FABULOUS!
ANYWAY, LET ME LOOK BACK MARC JACOBS FALL '07 NOW.

I CANNOT WAIT CHECKING
MICHAEL KORS AND 3.1 PHILLIP LIM...

GREENERY COLOR IS NEXT TREND?

▼WHAT CALLS YOUR SPIRIT?

THIS TITLE, "WHAT CALLS YOUR SPIRIT?"
IS TODAY'S TOPIC AT ENGLISH CAFE.
DAVID ASKED ME,
"WHAT IS YOUR INSPIRATION FOR FASHION?"
I CANNNOT ANSWER WELL, SO I STARTED MAKING A BOOK,
TAKE DOWN WORDS, SCRAP PICS...ETC

I WAS AMAZED AT THE COLLECTION OF "JEREMY SCOTT".
HIS INSPIRATION CAME FROM OUR DAILY LIVES,
FOR EXAMPLE, CRUSHED CANS, SAFTY PINS, SIGN...ETC
THAT IS WHY HIS COLLECTION NEVER BORED ME.
